Sunridge Village is a community of Senior Apartments in Omaha that are especially created for people ages 55 and over. The community focuses on assisting residents there to continue to live actively and as independently as possible. This is an opportunity to quit worrying about home maintenance, shoveling a driveway, and mowing and raking a yard. Residents don’t even have to cook if they don’t want to. There is also no buy-in fee or entrance fee to become a resident.
These Senior Apartments in Omaha provide many amenities on site, like personal banking, individual laundry facilities, dining, transportation, and security. Sunridge Village is located in the northwestern part of Omaha and is close to shopping. Residents can take advantage of courtesy transportation provided by Sunridge Village to get them to shopping and doctor appointments. For residents who do have a car, heated underground parking is available for an additional fee.
All utilities, including electricity, gas, trash, and water, are included in the rent, and housekeeping is also included. Two times a month, housekeeping will clean each apartment. There are laundry facilities on-site, or else residents can have the convenience of having their own washer and dryer in their apartments, as the hook-ups are already there inside each apartment. Dining is included, too, with a continental breakfast as well as an evening meal prepared by a chef. An alternative plan also includes lunch. If residents have overnight guests, the community has guest rooms available for a fee and even a guest meal plan, too, so residents don’t have to cook for their guests.
There are a few more extra services that are not included in the basic plan, but are available. They have a toenail clinic, a nurse practitioner on site, and barber shop and beauty salon services.
Residents have peace of mind with the various security measures at Sunridge Village. The community is staffed 24 hours a day all year long. The underground parking garage serves as a tornado shelter. Also, in case a storm takes the power out, each apartment has an outlet that is connected to the building’s emergency generator. Perhaps the biggest security feature is that each apartment has a call phone that is specifically for residents to use if they need immediate help. Residents also get a pendant or a clip-on button to use to call for help any time.
