The unfortunate truth is that despite the number of people who have read the Bible and thoroughly researched Abaddon or Apollyon no one really knows the answer to Who is Apollyon. This is a question that remains a mystery to this day. There are a lot of theories and ideas that suggest who this individual was and why he was mentioned in the Revelations. Unfortunately, most people have come to terms with the fact that this is one of those great Biblical mysteries that is never going to have a full answer.
